The infamous ‘ice car’ found three days ago in an upstate New York parking lot has been freed by a tow truck. Justin Yelen left his car parked overnight at a Hamburg restaurant. When he returned the next day, he found the vehicle completely incased in ice by waves from Lake Erie. On Wednesday a plan was hatched to liberate the frozen Mitsubishi Lancer from its icy prison. The ice around the car was melted so that a tow truck could free the car. It was then taken to an auto shop to defrost.
Suspected Colorado Club Shooter Makes 1st Court Appearance
The suspect in the massacre carried out at the LGBTQ club in Colorado Springs, Colorado, made his first virtual courtroom appearance Wednesday. Anderson Lee Aldrich slumped in a wheelchair while it was determined he will continue to be held without bond. Aldrich’s mom posted on Facebook in the hours before the shooting at Club Q, where five were killed, that her son took her phone and debit card and was missing. She also noted Aldrich had told her, “Get ready to have the best night ever.”

Walmart Employee Shoots 6 in Virginia
Another mass shooting, this time at a Walmart in Chesapeake, Virginia, where police say a store employee opened fire, killing six and sending others to the hospital. Cops say they received the first 911 call around 10:12 p.m. They declared the scene safe an hour later after the gunman was found dead from what they believe was a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
