Two weeks ago, Morgan Scott was on the way to work at the city’s planning and zoning commission in Elizabeth, when she says the driver of a silver SUV hit her car during a minor fender bender. As she tried to take photos of the license plate, the SUV suddenly went into reverse and went right at her, and ended up driving over her three times.

A teen jumped from a speeding stolen car during a police chase, according to authorities in Ohio. The Whitehall Police Department says officers were chasing the 16-year-old at high speeds. They say they deployed stop sticks to disable the vehicle. The car started to slow down and crash into the cement barrier. 10-Year-Old Lily Peters Was Murdered by 14-Year-Old Boy, Cops Say
Wisconsin police have arrested a 14-year-old boy in connection with the killing of Lily Peters, a 10-year-old girl who was found dead blocks from her home. Gruesome details of the child’s death also emerged during the court proceeding. Prosecutors described how the young teen allegedly lured Lily, whom he knew, along a wood trail before they say he punched her, beat her with a stick, strangled her and then sexually assaulted her body. A decision has not been made on whether to try him as an adult.
Parents Watch Home Invasion on Doorbell Cam as Kids Are Inside
A teenage girl and her two friends were robbed at gunpoint as the homeowners watched the terrifying home invasion on their Ring app. Video shows two armed men burst into the house in Pasadena, Texas, and order the three victims to the floor. One of the suspects lifted one of the teens by her hair and ordered her to another part of the house. As the robbery unfolded, the girl’s parents, who were out for the evening, watched in horror on their cellphones as they screamed at the men through the camera.
Man Attacks Brother’s Killer During Sentencing
A man was tackled to the ground after he reportedly attacked his brother’s killer in an Ohio court room. Travon Singleton was detained by Cuyahoga County Sheriff’s deputies. He reportedly tried to grab the throat of the man who was to be sentenced after pleading guilty to involuntary manslaughter and aggravated robbery in his brother’s killing. School Bus Full of Kids Hit by Car Driving Over 100 MPH
A video, released by the Albuquerque Police Department, shows the moment of impact when a speeding Ford Mustang hit a school bus full of middle school students. Kids climbed out of windows and the emergency door to safety, while adult bystanders who witnessed the crash came to assist the frightened children. According to Albuquerque Public Schools, there were 23 students heading home at the time of the crash. The bus driver and seven students were sent to the hospital for their injuries.
Hunt for Killer of 10-Year-Old Lily Peters Ramps Up
A 10-year-old Wisconsin girl who vanished Sunday night while riding home on her bike has been discovered dead in the woods just blocks from her house. Authorities warned parents to be vigilant and to drop off and pick up their kids from school. The heartbreaking discovery was made Monday morning by investigators who searched through the night for Iliana “Lily” Peters, a fourth grader in Chippewa Falls. The girl’s body was found not far from her bike, near a walking path. The suspect is at large.
Little League Game Interrupted by Hail of Gunfire
Terrified kids and parents ducked for cover during a South Carolina little league game after a barrage of gunfire rang out near the field. Video shows the players at first freeze in shock as they hear the sound of bullets. They were told to duck and take cover on the ground. Fortunately, no one was injured in the incident. Lori and Blake Ferguson’s 8-year-old son Silas was on the pitcher’s mound. They told Inside Edition it was “the worst experience, nightmare that we have ever been through.”
