Dog Rescued From Burning Car Thanks Cop With Kisses
A deputy in Colorado is being hailed a hero for taking immediate action to save a dog from a car that was on fire. On Thursday, the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office shared video of the Jan. 22 rescue after Deputy Michael Gregorek was responding to a call of a vehicle on fire. When he got to the scene, he saw a man trying to get his dog out of an SUV. The deputy then lunged into the burning vehicle and pulled Hank out. Hank thanked the deputy the only way he knew how: by licking his hero’s face.

Arrest Made After 8-Months-Pregnant Woman Vanished in 2017
For nearly five years the nation has been searching for Akia Eggleston, 22. She was eight months pregnant and planning her own baby shower. Now, prosecutors believe they have answers as to what may have happened to her back in 2017. “In the past 6 months, we have used additional investigative techniques and given this case a committed set of fresh eyes,” said Marilyn J. Mosby, Baltimore City State’s Attorney. Michael Robertson was arrested and charged with two counts of murder, Mosby announced.
