It’s a sea of pink as a Texas community pays tribute to Athena Strand, the 7-year-old girl allegedly abducted and murdered by a FedEx driver. Strand’s mother Maitlyn Gandy dyed her hair pink in honor of her daughter’s favorite color. As motorcyclists paid tribute to the Athena, her classmates waved. Strand vanished from the driveway of her home near Fort Worth, Texas. Her body was found two days later. Tanner Horner, a contract driver for FedEx, is now facing a murder charge.
