17-Year-Old Returns Woman’s Lost Purse and Gets $3K Reward
A California teen did a good deed by driving to a woman’s house to return a lost purse. Melina Marquez says a teenager found the purse in a shopping cart at a grocery store. The driver’s license inside belonged to her friend, Eliana Martin, who used to live with her, but hadn’t updated her address. They posted the doorbell video to social media hoping to find the teen. At Least 50 Dead in Trailer With No Air Conditioning
At least 50 people are dead, found in and around an abandoned trailer in Texas. Authorities in San Antonio say the vehicle was found when a worker heard a cry for help. Along with the deceased, 16 other people, 4 of them children, were transported to area hospitals. They were reportedly too weak to stand. Authorities believe this was a group of migrant workers. This alleged human smuggling event is now part of an ongoing federal investigation.

Subway Employee Shot Dead After Argument Over Mayonnaise
A Subway sandwich shop employee is dead and another worker is in critical condition after police say a customer shot them over an argument about an order. It happened at a location in Atlanta, Georgia. “There was something wrong with the sandwich that made him so upset that he decided to take out his anger on two of the employees here,” Deputy Police Chief Charles Hampton Jr. said.
