A vehicle matching one that an Alabama corrections officer purchased before disappearing with an inmate was found Thursday in rural Tennessee, according to Sheriff Rick Singleton. NBC News’ Sam Brock reports on the new information revealed at an afternoon press conference.
Cops in Texas say this man stole a lawnmower, but before he made off with his loot, he mowed his victim’s grass. Port Arthur Police say Marcus Hubbard entered the residential building last month and removed the mower without the owner’s consent. He then proceeded to mow the front and back yards of the property. When cops arrived on scene, they say Hubbard ran from authorities, dragging the mower behind him. Inside Edition Digital’s Mara Montalbano has more.

Kailia Posey’s family has confirmed the cause of her death was suicide. Her body was found Monday inside a car at a park in Washington state.
