A 10-year-old Wisconsin girl who vanished Sunday night while riding home on her bike has been discovered dead in the woods just blocks from her house. Authorities warned parents to be vigilant and to drop off and pick up their kids from school. The heartbreaking discovery was made Monday morning by investigators who searched through the night for Iliana “Lily” Peters, a fourth grader in Chippewa Falls. The girl’s body was found not far from her bike, near a walking path. The suspect is at large.
Terrified kids and parents ducked for cover during a South Carolina little league game after a barrage of gunfire rang out near the field. Video shows the players at first freeze in shock as they hear the sound of bullets. They were told to duck and take cover on the ground. Fortunately, no one was injured in the incident. Lori and Blake Ferguson’s 8-year-old son Silas was on the pitcher’s mound. They told Inside Edition it was “the worst experience, nightmare that we have ever been through.”
The release of police videos from last year’s fatal shooting on the set of “Rust” has people pouring over each frame. But the family of the cinematographer who was killed is questioning why so much evidence was released during an active investigation. Among the videos are clips of Alec Baldwin rehearsing the scene that would end in Hutchins’ accidental death. Three hours later, at the sheriff’s office, investigators read him his Miranda rights before questioning.
