Olena Gnes was awoken by shelling at 5 a.m. She gathered her children and headed to her neighborhood bomb shelter, where she and her children huddled with neighbors. They sit in silence, stone-faced, uncertain and afraid of what would come next. “I do not feel safe in a bomb shelter with my children,” she said.
