The Omicron surge continues to take a toll on travellers scrambling to get home after the holidays. Some who are heading overseas have to show a negative COVID-19 test when they land, so they’re getting tested at the airport before departure and the last-minute tests are causing chaos. There was a five-hour wait at New York’s LaGuardia airport when Inside Edition’s Les Trent went to check out the situation. Lines started outside on the sidewalk where people waited in 18-degree weather.
